Hi guys

Another new member here, been reading forums for quite a while but this is the first I have joined, thought I had better say hello.

I started my vaping journey about 3 years ago on cigalike type things. Was quite impressed to start with but soon got fed up of carrying 4 or 5 batteries and tiny little cartridges (that I used to fill up myself). Anyway I lasted/struggled through a good 8/9 months but then went on holiday to Greece and ended up back on the smelly fags . Guess for ease mostly.

Smoked for about a year after but decided to give it another shot. This time I ordered a ce4 style starter kit and was blown away! Not had a cig since. Been smoke free over a year .

Progressed quite quickly since learning that pg gave me dry throat and switch to vg only juices (funny never had that problem with the cigalikes). Tried just about every clearo going, finally settled on evods as my favourite. Upgraded to a vamo and again was happy for quite some time. Was building my own coils for the evod and then bought a couple of drippers too (octopus and scar rda). Then I hit a problem. The drippers tasted so good I couldn't happily use my evods after and dripper wasn't exactly go out friendly.

Anyway so about a week ago I got a couple of clones, a kayfun lite plus and a aqua clone. Sitting on top of my new smok magneto. Built using cotton and microcoils. Wow!! Why did I not try these sooner?? The kayfun is great I take it everywhere, the aqua I find a little leaky after filling but wow does that thing pack a punch. Not so good for out and about due to really small capacity and it's really thirsty!

So that's my journey so far. Sorry if it's a bit long but don't know any vapers near me and I like to talk about these things. Seems with any 5m spare I'm browsing vaping websites these days. Think vaping is an addiction in itself, new flavours, shiney mods etc :/. Still all good fun.

One quick question, genesis style rba's, are they worth it? Do you get much more flavour compared to the kayfun? Guess they are keep home and upright type things but are they worth adding to the collection?

Hi Nickmak and :welcome2: to POTV!

:newhere: too so I can't answer your question, but well done for being off the cigs for over a year! I'm just at 9 days but am so happy vaping, I don't see myself going back to them at all!

Glad to have you aboard

Joey

Thanks. First couple of weeks is the hardest so well done so far :). It's quite a journey when you get into it... First the hunt for that perfect liquid, then when shineyitus hits the fun really begins. And your right it's so much better than the fags, don't miss them at all.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your journey and welcome to the planet :)
