Holy Hell

Plugging up the pin seems like a pain, simple job but the last time I tried to take a mod apart, I broke it even more. VooPoo Drag, wattage adjustment got stuck. I'm really surprised SXK haven't tended to that issue by now.

I did come across a guy on YouTube, suggested buying the genuine boro tank, said the gasket on the clone boros won't last long, is that the general consensus?

Sealing the pin is a doddle, 10 minute unskilled job. Do it once and forget it.

As for the clone boros ... spare boros, spare glasses, spare o-rings and gaskets is a much cheaper proposition.

Does anyone know where I can get spare gaskets at a reasonable price because a couple of mine have gone a bit sticky, seen them on Naturevape at £2 but by the time you put p&p on you might as well go for the full boro from FT and I’ve got 2 of the clear SXK’s on there way.

If one speaks to the vast majority of BB owners, they have to grudgingly admit that they mainly started out with a Clone. Yes there are many facebook groups that are vehemently anti Clones and ban discussion of anything other than the BBV Product and items such as The Team Noct Products. I always felt that to be a shame as most people, despite the vociferous protestations otherwise, would certainly think twice before parting with close to £350/£400 for a Real BB and Bridge. I know that we certainly couldn't even think about it when we first came back to BBs. But each to their own of course, it is their money, so their choice on what they choose to spend it. Ironically, those that shout the loudest about "those terrible Clones" tend to be easily caught out when handed one. Yes, of course there ARE differences between the BBV Product and the Clones, but they are mainly aesthetic and bear Little or NO impact upon how the thing actually works :)

Have you tried removing them and giving them a soak in warm water. works for me :)

@scrumpox I still haven't priced up the genuine boro's, now I don't even want to consider looking. I'm happy to have a bash at sealing the pin up, least I know we have knowledgeable people on here that could rescue me if I fuck things up. There's just something scary about tearing into something you just dropped quite a bit of cash on.

@andyroo Have you tried provapes? Not sure on their postage and all.

@Rob It is their money as you say, just don't like the looking down on people. I'll buy genuine if I think it is worth the cost, which in itself is subjective. I don't believe the genuine BB is worth £300+.

As I said, each to their own @Toastie :)
Sometimes......... When one sees some of the collections people have amassed, it is difficult to rationalise their thought processes, certainly.
But this is all part of the crazy vaping world we inhabit :D:D:D

As @Rob stated loads of BB owners started of with the Sxk, myself included. I’ve just recently bought a genuine BB, but in retrospect I wonder to myself why I just didn’t buy another Sxk. Especially because I like the idea of a usb, as the DNA 60 I have is a couple of years old now. It came without usb. I just seen the other day someone charging a hundred odd quid to install a usb

Anthony at Elemental Cerakote now offers this service I see.

The glass on the gasket should always slide up and down with absolutely no resistance.....if you feel any resistance whatsoever....even slightly, either lube up the gasket.....better still, remove the boro to fill up.... fully lubing up the gasket.....whilst sliding down the glass about 3 quarters.
