hi my names mole iv made a box mod with a 2cell lipo battery its 7.4v 800mah from a rc heli iv dun the math but wanted to now from any pros wat a safe ohm coil would be ok to buil ow and no mosfet unregulated with 3amp switch thanks

Lipo C rating?

No mosfet means no higher than 3 amp drawn or the switch melts.

i belive its a 20c so ill pull well more than switch can handel correct ye

Battery should be good for 16A if my calculations are correct.

As you biggest limitations come from the switch, if you don't feel like going the mosfet route, modmaker is stocking the 10a fat daddy vandal switch. Might be worth a look?

With the 3A limit on the switch you'd be limited to 2.8 ohms giving you about 25W. The 10A switch would let you go down to 0.84 ohms giving you 84W.

thanks to all replys ill be looking into new switch deffo don't trust 3amp need more but ok for the minute on a 2.8 coil will do till new switch comes will try to upload a pic of my box mod its a 80s sony walkmen tape player iv gutted looks super cool retro lol
