Horlicks-The first draft

Since a couple of members raised an interest in a Horlicks flavour juice i had a look through my flavours and found what i needed that may replicate the taste.
Pls bare in mind this is freshly made and hasn't had any steeping time. This is my honest opinion of my own recipe. The aroma is subtle but definitely creamy and certainly malty, i made it to 12Mg and all VG. The taste is Smooth, not strong but quite nice, the creaminess comes through first, i think a little more malt taste would be better, some may find they would like a slightly sweeter taste but for me its enough. I will carry on trying to improve this recipe and update with any changes

I would have thought malt is the key flavour. For me it would have to have a sweetness to it but not overpowering. Keep us posted

You're right mark, however its easy to lose the milky creaminess, sweetness is another subjective, personal preference, the way around this is if i decide to add it to my shop i will offer an extra sweetness option, hopefully that will satisfy everyones needs

the thing about the horlicks tablets was .. they were just so .. so ... so MALTY

Second version is sweeter but still maybe not sweet enough for some, i'm going to hand it over to my taste panel and see how it can be improved further
