How to make your own E-Liquids

Love a bit of DIY.

I've got a rather tasty vanilla custard & a not so tasty raspberry, but when they are put together its a gorgeous raspberry vanilla custard!!

I did get put off for a bit after tasting juices after a week, but after you let them steep for a few weeks the result is amazing.

Always surfing the pre-made juice sites. Just 'cos you can cook a mean dinner, doesn't mean you shouldn't treat yourself to a takeaway every now & again, :2thumbsup:

Been looking in to making my own liquids after stumbling across info on the forum. As you say @Donald Trump's fister, buying pre-mixed liquids is burning a hole in my pocket now I'm sub ohming, far pricier than baccy considering I chain vape like the best of em. Need to find a way of cutting my vaping costs desperately and this seems to be the way forward! Just seen the Vampire Vape deal and am very tempted, pinkman and heisenberg concentrates are a definite lure. At the very least its a good starting point I guess and reduces the chance of me utterly failing. Bring on payday!

Nice! Not sure whether I'm brave enough to attempt this yet!
it sounds much more complicated than it is once you've done a couple of bottles youll wonder what all the fuss is about.
stick to preblended flavours to start with to avoid disappointment the mixology section can help with the rest:)

I'm sure I'll be fine with it all once I get going@Unclebilbo, it's just having enough funds to justify the investment atm. I've brewed my fair share of ale in the past which can be a pretty complex process to say the least. I think I have the eye for it but it would be nice to reduce the risk of failure initially to dodge burning my money you know.

The liquid draw is looking a bit bare right now, so a batch of pinkman and heisenberg would be a god send over 90ml of pre-mixed haha

yes my friend, definitely the way to go if you want to cut down on costs and after all, as well as the health benefits that's what many gave up smoking for.
Why not try a few one shot concentrates as you have mentioned and mix with your vg/pg and nic and see how it goes, at least it will give you a feel for what's involved and hopefully you will see that it's not at all complicated really.
Remember if you need any help or advice , then you are at the right place on this forum, where i'm sure you will find the answers from some great people on here .

All the best and let us all know how you get on

@jono if you want to minimise the initial investment you can always buy pg/vg/nic premix made to your own specification - http://www.juicecabin.com/e-cig-base-liquids/100-pre-mixed-base-liquid-250ml.html then all you need are a couple of measuring syringes and bottles in which to mix - get your desired concentrates from Vamp Vapes or wherever and you're good to go :) Its more cost effective in the long run to buy your PG - VG - Nic separately if you decide you want to keep DIYing in the future but to keep the initial investment as low as poss the pre mix is a great compromise. You can justify spending more in the future when you see how easy it is to make your own stuff from scratch :)

@yappycat I had spotted the premixes before, but could only find 85/15 and was put off as I would have preferred 70/30 or 60/40. But now I've done a little research it seems 85/15 4mg is actually what I need for the final product to end up around 70/30 and a touch over 3mg... Perfect! Cheers for the awesome advice there, might well order myself some today and get cracking on with some pinkman and heisenbery! Are there any other branded liquid companies you know of that sell their commercial liquids as a concentrate you could enlighten me about? Quite excited to get the ball rolling with this :2thumbsup:

@jono When you buy the premix from JuiceCabin you can specify the nic/PG/VG ratio you want and Les will make it up exactly how you want it :) But you're right - whatever PG/VG ratio you ask for you're going to be raising the PG ratio a bit (and therefore slightly lowering the VG/nic ratio) yourself when you add your concentrates as most concentrates are PG based :) Please let us know how you get on with it, and ask away if theres anything else you want to know :)
