My wife just can't get on with the MTL tanks I use. She draws too hard & gets juice all over. I reckon she'd more suited to sub ohm equipment but I have no idea what to get her. I make my own coils & juice but don't know where to start on sub ohm direct to lung kit.
She has a Mod that will give 50w or more, so that's sorted. I'm looking for a sub ohm tank that has easily replaceable coils that last a long time & aren't that expensive. I can rewick coils for my own kit so I could probably manage this too.
I'm UK based, so anything for a beginner that I can get in the UK would be preferable.
Please can anyone advise what to get?

Thanks guys. Another couple of questions:
Can I dry burn & rewick to make the coil last longer?
Is it straightforward to make your own coils? Buy some wire, wrap it around something the right diameter & Bob's your uncle?

Yes you can dry burn coils, I do it all the time but some say no. There's information out there regarding the risks so read & make your own choice. Main thing is if you do only gently reheat the wire & a small wire brush will shift loose material then rinse under a tap.
Use something like Steamengine to calculate number of wraps for the resistance you want in the material & AWG your using.
In general stock coils are one use only so unsuitable for cleaning & rewicking although there are some that can be but my knowledge on them is sparse.
Making coils for an RTA/RDA is easy & plenty of info in the rebuilding section.

The best sub ohm tank bar none is the freemax mesh pro. In terms of use it couldn’t be easier. Screw the coil in, prep it, fill the tank with liquid and vape. Dual, triple and quad coils are all superb. Bed them in properly and you’ll get 2-3 weeks out of them. The recommended wattage is 50-80 so as long as your wife’s mod can handle that without draining the battery too quick I’d highly recommend getting one

You can, but our leading vape advocate Dr Farsalino reckons we shouldn't, and there's really no need.

If you make your own each coil costs pennies, and if you buy premade exotic coils they can cost as little as 20p for decent coils from FT.
