Then so be it, if an answer comes of this then it will at least help someone else out in the future who may wonder the same. Nicotine base, why so many strength choices? I have not mixed that much up in total over the last few weeks, but what I have done has turned out fine. So the scenario is I want to mix up say 20ml of my chosen flavour, I have at the moment been using 27mg nic base, my desired total strength is 6mg. So after entering all the relevant flavourings and calculate, it comes up with I have to use "x" amount of nic base, PG, VG etc etc. Now if I was to use a higher or lower nic base, the end result would be I use either more or less in the same mix, correct? So like I say why have for example 12, 18,24,36 strengths? I could understand there being a high middle and low choice as people would not feel safe handling the high strength stuff, and if you look at LT`s site the best seller seems to be the 18mg strength. Perhaps I have just totaly overlooked the reason why.

Some people don't like working with the higher numbers simple as :)

Someone who mixes at 12mg might not want or need 72mg nic which would leave them with like 10 litres of the stuff afterwards.

I buy at 52(4)?mg simply because I have a little in the house and don't feel I need higher. I mix at 12 or 18 mg most of the time anyways, which leaves me about a years supply if I don't waste.

Some people buy 18mg VG base so all they have to do is add their flavours...people might buy at 72mg simply because they make A LOT of juice or because they like working with smaller numbers.

It all depends I suppose.

If you get yourself this little porograme eJuice Me Up, it accounts for the strength of nic and take the maths headache out of the equation. I use 72mg because it simply goes further.

Yeh thanks seedy. I already used that, the one simple thing I had overlooked was the fact I could have used a 50/50 nic base of 6mg and just enter 0% in the desired strength field box. I think starting the mixing thing so soon after recovering from the heart attack my head was a bit all over the place. Now fully aware that all I need to do is purchase my desired strength already mixed at 50/50 and just add my flavourings, and if I feel the need to use a different PG/VG ratio then to use a higher nic base concentrate.
Cheers

Hi @u8myufo

One thing to consider though when purchasing remixed @ 6% would be when you add your flavors/additives then that will drop your nicotine also.

ie 10% flavour would drop you to 5.4%, 20% to 4.8%, etc.
