hey guys - i just built my first ever Coil for an igo-l and it worked. Its came out at 1.4ohms.
i then went and built a duel coil and it come out at 0.4ohms.
But im a little scared of it being so low and im not sure if it is safe.

Efest 18650 2250 mah


This is my battery im using. its in an Igo-L and a Kamry K100.

Any advice would be great

Theyre the silver and black batteries, right? If so they have a 10 amp limit so with a fully charged battery with that coil you'd be hitting 10.5 amp. With a coil at 0.43 you'd be drawing 9.77 amp which is near you limit.

I'd try keep it above .5 with those batteries but some people may call me a pussy :)

Also worth mentioning that the stock airhole in an igo l is pretty tiny. You'll struggle to get enough air over your dual coils to avoid burning.

I can't get a single coil setup less than 0.7 to work properly with the minimal air flow

Hi buddy,

Not sure on your battery spec to say for sure.

18650 is the physical size and 2250 is how much juice your battery has in milliamperes.

You need to know the amp limit of the battery in question, do you have a link where you bought it?

With the battery fully charged at 0.4 resistance you will be drawing 10.5amps from the battery, which is fine for most high drain batteries like purple Efest or VTC5 but not all 18650 batteries so definitely worth checking your spec / limits
