Ijoy baby avenger battery

The Ijoy baby avenger is a 108w mod. Even tho it is a dual 20350 mod, the battery drain when used on full power will draw in the region of 19amps from the batteries. The best 18350 I'm aware of is only a 10A battery so I would definitely NOT recommend using 18350's in it.

So don't use it at full power.

I did read it but it seems to have gone

Yeah, I can admit it was a stupid oversight on my behalf - caused by posting before having my first caffeine dose of the day ;)

But, for those that didn't...

Every mod I own is capable of trying to draw more than any available cell is capable of providing when at maximum settings*, and a couple even say stuff in the instructions like "only use 18650 cells capable of at least 35A".

*Not to the level I put initially, I missed a number ;)

Really. Something like a 200w dual battery device with a chip efficiency of 90% and a battery cutoff of 3.3v will still only draw in the region of 30a from a cell on max power.

There's only one 18650 cell that's been shown to be actually capable of 30A.

Plus, there's plenty of dual 18650 mods advertised as 230W. Either they have a really high cutoff or the copout of "use 35/40A batteries".

Thank god for the Samsung 20S. Sony VTC5D will push that too.. Let's hope we get some more batteries in the future that will go beyond 30A.

Honestly they're not really needed from a vaping perspective though.

It's a very small minority of people who want that sort of power, and considering there's roughly zero stock coils that'll handle it for more than 3 seconds those people are going to be building their own coils and (hopefully) have at least a basic understanding of what they're doing.

For everyone else, they're never going to push things that hard and 20-25A cells are more than sufficient, whatever the max settings say.

My purple EEFEST says it will do 35A lol I could re-wrap it again and put 40A on the label then I'm covered for any eventuality but might not have any fingers left.

Quite agree. I seldom vape over 50W.
