ikonn 220 not charging

I've got an eleaf ikonn 220 that won't charge. charged it over night. still dead. it said battery error on the screen. does this mean I need new batterys? can I fry the batterys for charging to long?

General advise will be to charge your batteries externally in a charger & never, ever, ever, leave them charging in a mod overnight

Does sound like you need a new set of batteries & please get an external charger

That's a reliable mod but I wouldn't charge my batteries in it all the time, I've only charged in that as an emergency to get me home. Get a decent external charger from fogstar and yes, batteries are possibly knackered too.

looks very similar to a smok alien.

as said, please NEVER leave plugged in overnight. all it needs is a short and bang, you get the gist.

some mods now support onboard charging but i would still never leave it alone if i did charge using usb. most mods the usb is only for software updates which id also not bother with as ive heard of too many bricked by a corrupt update.

If you can use other batteries/charge them with something else and the mod then works then the USB port is buggered. If you put charged batteries in and it still doesn't work then the board/mod is toast.

I've been and got some new batterys. Which lasted me a day! The same problem. Saying charger error. Had enough of it. So invested in a new mod. Also invested in an external battery charger. Its a sinuous v 200.
