In the shadow of 'Big Pharma': Why e-cigarette users defy legislation

A very well written article. I'm going to send this to my MP, & MEP (if I can find out who that is).
I was going to post it here myself after randomly coming accross it on the net, but you beat me to it.

Letter sent to my MP

Dear Sir,

I would like to know your position on E-cigarettes.

As a smoker who has been unable to quit, having tried all the regular ways of doing so, I have found E-cigs to be a life saver. It basically means I dont have to quit but can carry on, without taking in all the other nasties that you find in traditional tobacco cigarettes which will ultimately kill me.

I find the current push to legislate against e-cigarettes very short sighted, & seems to be only designed to keep the revenue flowing for government & big pharmaceuticals, at the expense of keeping people stuck on traditional tobacco cigarettes even if it means people dying rather than allowing them to use a viable alternative that is way less dangerous.

Most importantly, the proposed level of 4mg of nicotine seems designed soley to make e-cigarettes ineffective, even if they do manage to get enough money to get approval under the proposed MHRA 'thing'

Please take the time to read this article regarding e-cigs.
