Innokin Adept Zlide Juice advice

I have been using the Innokin Adept Zlide for 6 months, initially with the pre-installed 0.48 resistance coil, lately I noticed little to no flavour coming from my Heisenberg flavoured juice which should be full of flavour.

I assumed that may mean I need to change the coil, I changed it to the 1.6 resistance coil included in the box, and now even with a fresh coil I can barely taste my liquid.

I am using Vampire Vape: Heisenberg 70/30 e liquid just for clarification.

Can anybody recommend juices which go well with this specific kit, or explain to me why my juice tastes so bland after trying to fix the issue?

You weren't using the same 0.48 ohm coil for 6 months were you?

Any of the Innokin Z coils should fit, and for 70.30 liquids you're probably best with the sub ohm type (ie those under 1 ohm) as those will wick better. For the plus ohm coils you'd be best with 50/50 liquid.

As for the blandness of the liquid, an over used coil will definitely cause this (usually along with a burnt taste) but sometimes it's good to change up flavours every now and then to avoid "vapers tongue".

I was using the same coil for 6 months, I know that’s so stupid however I at first thought that you should change only when burnt but I now know otherwise!

I will try 50/50 as like I said I now am using the spare 1.6 coil and I will follow your advice.

in relation to vapers tongue I doubt that’s the case simply because I have only just tried this new flavour and have only had it for a few days so that’s why it really confuses me!

The flavour will drop off over time and I would guess that now you've switched to a different coil type that isn't right for you, buy a packet of the 0.48 coils if those give you the best flavour. The 1.6ohm is a very different coil.

What wattage are you vaping at?

with the innokin zlide it auto selects a range so with the 1.6 ohm coil it ranges from 11-14 and I have tried all 4 wattage’s in that range.

Previously, with the 0.48 ohm coil I was using 14-17 wattage.

That's all good then, perhaps the 1.6 doesn't take kindly to 70/30 juice as suggested.
