INW tobacco smoke & prunes

It was mostly @Horrand ’s posts ok here that convinced me to give the inw ones another go. From the ones you listed @Biochemist , I am a big fan of darkfor pipe and black for pipe. The burley is an odd one, more like an FA tobacco, sort of subtle and strong at the same time. Very dry, and I’ve found uses for it in blends.

I really like am4a too. Given you like that, you might also like black cat for pipe. While they are very different flavours I think of them as being similar in a few ways. It’s a similar tobacco base with blueberry. I also get a dried licorice stick note after a bit of a steep. It’s very good.

I'd be interested to hear what sort of setup do you use to vape these, my gut feeling tells me strictly MTL, maybe even mesh for complex tobaccos. AM4A is an exception because I found it works fineish in DL as well.

I was afraid you'd say that! That's ok, I will make a couple of batches with Dark and Black for pipe and see how I get on with them.

I believe @Horrand puffs these in dl devices at 3mg. Maybe he can advise on strengths etc.

I usually mix the dark and black at 2 or 3 %.

I wonder if that might be better if you left out the ry4 double and cut the oakwood to 0.5%. I find oakwood pretty strong, I think at 1.5% that’s maybe what caused the coughing fit. It’s really useful in small amounts though.

Yeah I only vape DTL. My setup is Apocalypse clone with dual fused claptons coming out at 0.18ohm, vaping at 75W.

@Biochemist I like the Black for Pipe at 3% solo, 3mg nic and find it good straight from the shake. It seems to give me some sort of dark berry note mixed in with the tobacco.

Aye, black for pipe is definitely some dark fruit in there, with the subtle tobacco background that I suspect is the same in all of those. Dark for pipe seems more fruity to me than black. To me black for pipe is reminiscent of dried fruit, and a bit sweeter. Dark seems a bit like dark berries or stone fruit. A ripe, sweet, dark plum, maybe. Hard to define, though. I can’t pin down particular fruits in them really, just an approximation. A bit like the other thread, @Biochemist . New flavours we didn’t know about before. am4a is also one of those for sure.
