Is it the AGR tank, as if so it's screw threads

If not, I found a decent pair of pliers did the trick with the one i was playing with the other day

Those look hung on by rubber orings... if the orings werent "juiced" prior to putting it all together, its going to be troublesome... Run it under hot water (as hot as you can stand) or let it sit in a boiling cuppa watter for a few mins, it will soften to orings up so you can pull the ends off (make sure you wiggle and twist)

Or put a screw driver through one hole to touch the cap on the other end and then GENTLY tap it to loosen. Disclaimer: try at your own risk
