Today I got a new subtonic (Kanger Mini) and with anything new you use it for a long period.
I may have been vaping for about half an hour in total lol, trying to get bigger clouds.
Anyway, suddenly it got quite dull on the display, I thought maybe it needs charging (battery was low).
It's been on charge now at least half an hour and it's still much the same, quite dull and barely legible.

Also, it doesn't appear to go over 16W without it coming up with an error message, ''Protection''.
Have I literally done a bad match here for mod / tank?

has my new tank literally killed my mod? As far as I'm aware the iStick 30w doesn't have variable brightness of the screen. I have only been vaping 5 weeks in total, and had this iStick for around 3 weeks now. Purchased second hand. Everything has been working a-ok on it, until today.

Also, would the X cube 2 be a good upgrade, or are they the same?

Thanks in advance for information :)

The X-Cube seems to have found favour with a great many here, but I have no experience of it personally, so better wait on someone who is au fait with it. ;)

Thanks for the PDF Rob, doesn't mention the brightness of the display. Although, it does mention a full 2.5 hours for charging - so here's hoping it's something a full charge will cure.
Also, I will definitely wait for further reviews on the cube. I've seen a LOT of people use them on Facebook, so interested to see more. I can get a brand new cube 2 with batteries and charge for £70 delivered. I think that's a rather good deal!

I've personally never used the Xcube2 myself but had no problems with the Smok M80 plus I had. It was really well built and didn't miss a beat... That being said I have also heard a few people talk about the Xcube not being that great.

Best thing to do is have a trawl through some reviews on youtube, see what the reviewers say and then make a decision based on that.

My two pennies worth is that I would imagine there are better mods for a similar price if you look around i.e. the Sigelei 150w TC.

Have a butchers on KingzOfVapour's website for reasonably priced mods in the UK. I'm sure they sell the Xcube, the Sigelei I mentioned and others like the Snow Wolf all at a very reasonable price.

Funny you mention the snow wolf, I've heard some FANTASTIC things about it. I think I only really want the x cube for the colourful lights on it. I'm just that sad lol. :18:
I will check out the website and see what they've got on offer. Thanks for the advice. :14:
