Damn it beeky was gonna go with the original VTbox till i saw the wood. Got a quadra on order, price is good, postage a killer. When it lands in my grubby mitts, i'll measure it up then decide, lipo or 2 x 18650. Erring on the side of the 18650s atm, i dont need 200w anyways. Need to research if any drawbacks with the 18650s.

Sorry about that tonystr They are beautiful boxes though

I will see what falls off the replacement VTbox before placing my order. If its crap I will be feeling the need to provide a lovely wooden Quadra home for the board.

I did read somewhere (will try and track it down) that dual 18650's don't power the DNA200 for very long (less than a days use)

Having had a brief spell using the board and experiencing the fantastic vape you can get from it, it does tempt you to crank up the watts and push a high watt initial boost.

When I do a home build on this board I will be powering it with a 3s lipo. No question.

Been so busy lately, not much time to get on here Cheers for the heads up on the quadro. I agree the dna200 gives a fab vape, but not dived into the various settings yet. I think the dual 18650s have the edge on mAh but are limited to 133w on the dna and are only 10C rated.

So i'm waiting for the quadro to turn up but have all the other bits apart from the lipo.

The vt box is sweet apart from the 510 and 'cige' on the side, i was planning to just replace the 510 except i saw the quadro. It'll be my first wooden mod Hopefully it will arrive b4 the weekend.
