I've started mixing....

My gut feeling is that it will be better a part of a mix rather than a stand alone flavour, so back over to you :D

ok, I just has a little taste, my first impression is that it's not very strong at 5% and tastes very 'watery' ... it doesn't have the intense flavour of the sweets, and also even though this is called 'violet candy' is doesn't have a 'candy' taste to me, it has more of a natural 'fruit juice' kind of taste. it's not unpleasant though and pretty refreshing. I defo think it would make a nice flavour note in a mix ...... along with some cherry would be nice I think.
 
I haven't tried it yet as I have a 250ml bottle of the original and have also been using CAP VC1 more recently but I see that Darkstar have it in their Dark Arts range now so I'll get some soon.

I wasn’t aware of that, good to know. It’s strong, 3-5% for me tasted about as strong as vc1 at 10%. It tastes better to me as well.
The mozzarella is also worth trying.

Pick up some FA violet, it’s pretty strong and tastes exactly like parma violet flavour. Chefs or dark star might have it rebottled.

Thanks, I'll pick some up soon .... I'll have to work with what I have for a little bit though. :)

Oh boy!! Then it went downhill. Cherry is one of those no-go's for me. I guess we all have a bleh flavour we don't like.

haha, Cherry is about the only fruit I can live with, in fact I feel a Cherry, Toasted Almond and Violet nougat coming along soon. :D
 
I suspect parma voilet might be in the same category as cherry for me, a bit too strident for my palette.
 
I’ve kind of dipped my toe in the water with mixing. So far just single flavours FA white peach and Atmos Labs Jasmine Tea which I saw @zouzounaki mention at some time.

I thought the Jasmine tea tasted quite authentic (although I’d mixed it a little strong) ... asked my other to guess what it was and he said it was like licking a girl armpit
