JAC Vapour are currently looking to employ a Customer Service Assistant for our new JAC Vapour store in Edinburgh.

Previous experience in a Retail environment is preferable, you must also have previous Customer Service experience and be fully computer literate.

Full training will be provided on site.

Duties include working to sales targets, maintaining professional and technical knowledge by studying the product portfolio, ensuring high visual standards across the store, completing store operational requirements, customer service, taking orders, cash handling and credit card payments.

But most of all … you need to know and love vaping!

aaahhhh i would have been sooo interested in this , but i have no experience in retail or customer service , i am however a good communicator and computer literate(i have a NC in technical support and just finished a HNC in networking and internet technology) oh and i definitely love vaping , just out of curiosity , where is your store going to be?

I have E-mailed you my C.V with a covering letter , what I would like to add (and I know this sounds desperate) is that depending on when your new shop opens, I would be willing to come in for a bit of a trial and to work voluntarily/help out (even if you need help getting the shop ready) so that you can see that I am a quick learner.

This is a wonderful opportunity, and the timing is pretty amazing. I have had very recent experience of working with the largest online retailer in various capacities for the last several years. I have experience in health related positions as well as more technical roles. I have also spent a number of years with public/charitable sector bodies working directly with the public. I'm not "old" by the way! I should also mention that I absolutely love the vaping community, so a rare job opening like this is pretty exciting.
