If there's a Linux software vversion, someone will hae created a Mac version - they are both Unix derivatives.

well i just tested it and the software seems to run fine under WINE in linux but it doesnt see the device, id guess its just a case of getting the driver right ill have a mess about and see if i can get it working.

Are you still pleased with the evic? Thinking of purchasing now I have seen the body mods

very pleased actually, especially since the new firmware update, i cant say ive got a single complaint about it, well worth the cash, the battery lasts FOREVER and im only using the 2600mah one, theres a 3400mah available now

Yes, I had another look at Joyetech's dotcom site and noticed the new battery, nice! They also have new battery tubes and control head covers in black, bright silver (chrome) and white. They're quoting £10.51 for a cover and tube. They haven't appeared on Joyetech's UK site yet but I'd assume they will do in time and as a replacement battery tube is priced at £15.99, hopefully for something around that price.

I really must get one of these eVics, especially if they bring in these other tubes and control head covers, it'll be like when we had multiple covers for our mobile phones, all over again!

yeah i needed one of them control head covers the other day when i lost mine while drunk, i ended up buying a whole extra unit as i couldnt find one on its own, then of course one of my friends text me to tell me hed found it about 10mins after id ordered it! still £55 wasnt bad for a full kit, i paid more for my first one, if service is good from there ill let you know as it is a bargain price for an evic.

the batteries arent available at any joyetech suppliers but there are plenty on ebay or at stealthvapes, again though ive spent enough this week so ill wait till next months wages come in to grab the bigger battery

Well, coincidentally, I'd asked about battery tubes in other colours on Joyetech UK's facebook page a few days ago. Someone else replied about the new battery and covers and today Joyetech replied saying they expect delivery of them in the UK in 4-6 weeks.
