Hi Folks.
I've been mixing for a few months now (why did it take me over three years to bite the bullet and start mixing?!!), and it's been very successful so far, bearing in mind that I've only stuck to simple, one flavour, mixes.
A few things that I've noticed so far - 1. Nicotine content seems to have an effect on flavour, with some mixes seeming to combine, tastily with higher or lower nicotine content than others. 2. Age Matters! Yes, steeping is a general rule of thumb, but I have noticed that a few of my flavours have gone from decent after a week or two, to absolutely LUSH after 3 months, and 3. Aroma is very very different from flavour, in some mixes. I've found a few different flavours that smell exactly the same, yet taste completely different, and some that smell quite rank (a cat's pee one springs to mind), but taste, and vape, blooming good.

ps. Small things please small minds they say, and, in my case, it appears to ring true. I love that mixing miracle of how the colour of a mix changes with age! ( I may need to get out more :yahoo: )

Only flavouring I've had that smelled like nail varnish remover but tasted gorgeous was peach. Left it steeping in the vain hope the varnish smell vanished but if anything got stronger.

when it comes to mixing steeping is definatly your friend bud, especially if mixing multiple flavours together.
It gives time for the flavours to mix and fuse together and also for the oxidisation process to work its magic

Yes we always recommend to our mixers to steep for a minimum of 7 days (Most find it hard to wait that long), but oif you leave it for 7 weeks, in alot of cases, you would think it was a different eliquid (for the better)

some juices are good to go straight away and some require a looong steep, but all my juices I steep for at least a week before i go near them, or if I have to send them out before that time I always advise giving them a week
