I've bought myself the Kanger Pro Tank 3 & a 10 pack of coils, It hasn't actually arrived yet but I'm just pondering whether any of you lot have rebuilt the coils or had a go at doing them?

I had a Totally Wicked RB1 Rebuildable but it was nothing but trouble to me, changing the coils wasnt difficult but the juice just leaked from everywhere. I've never actually created a coil I used pre wound ones that came with that unit.

So yeah' my experience is very basic in rebuilds.:hmm:

I rebuild my pt3 coils all the time ithe tube

I'll have a look later on, it's literally just arrived about 15 minutes ago. Pleasantly suprised by the quality of it too, got plenty of coils with it but going to have a go :)

HI, ive done vivinovas, pt2's but the pt3 i found difficult as the coils are in parallel. since when you have coils in parallel the overall resistance is derived from the product divided by the sum, its hard to get one above 1.3 ohms for my vamo. but higher resistance kanthal would have helped. But if your using a mech mod it wont matter :-) enjoy its a good tank, but i found the coils dont last very long, the new aerotank coils fit, maybee they will last longer?

haven't you had any air flow issues with the pt3? i bought one with all the excitement when it was launched.. based on my experience with evods and pt mini2 but the airflow was too tight.. in fact no air flow if screwed all the way down.. so right now its lying in the abyss somewhere!

One I had did have this issue it was tight but usable the other was fine until the Mrs lost it the otherday

Hi mate :) i've heard that the pt2 coils are compatible, I've been thinking about trying a few out because this dual coil seems a gimmick to me :\ with me being a noob I thought I'd be better building the singles

A Review up on YouTube said that the aerotank base can be put onto the Pro tank 3, I haven't got a clue if you can buy that component separately but it's worth looking into. I haven't really noticed any issues but I prefer a really tight draw to be honest with you, I'm pretty happy with it. :)
