Kanger pro tank not working

Hi guys I'm new to the forum and have been a solid vaper since August 2012 so almost a year smoke free

my problem is I have just purchased a kanger protank as an upgrade from my vivi nova but when I opened the kit and assembled the protank it will not work with either of my ego imist batteries, both are fully charged and working with the nova but nothing with the protank.

now I know the ego batteries aren't great and I'm currently building a vv flash light Mod. But I would like the tank to work as the head in the nova is almost dead.


What I would like to know is does the protank actually work with the ego batteries
Or will I just have to get my mod made quicker?

Looking at this one, it's just a standard 510 connector. Might be worth trying to pull on your positive terminal in the battery just in case it's sitting a little bit too low.

Failing that. Try the other head. or stick a multimeter over the 510 and see if you get a reading.

Hiya, before you write it off, have you screwed the head into the base plate before you screw the base plate to the tank? Myself and at least one other POTV-er have been caught out by this! We both assembled the tank as it had arrived in the package, i.e. with the head sitting in the tank but not screwed separately to the base plate, whacked it on to an ego battery and then thought wtf! Now they are assembled properly both out KPTs work excellently on any size ego!

Couple of things:

1. Yes they will work with Ego batteries.

2. Are you certain that the head is screwed completely down in the base, James received a Protank today and initially I couldn't get the head to screw properly......seemed like dodgy (or dirty) threads.

Hi guys thanks a lot for the replies, yes I did screw the head, in I wound it in and out a few times and hey presto it works spot on must have been a bit of s**t in the thread.

im mega impressed with the flavour and the amount of vapour.

i think next I'll be gettin a genesis style tank to try, any recommendations ?

If you want something a piece of piss to set up that goes like a train, I would currently recommend the Smok Tech RSST.

About £25 and looks the mutts
