Kangertech Dripbox 160

Morning all,

I'e been looking in to getting a squonker and after looking at a lot, I think I'd be better off with a regulated one. Seen the Kangertech dripbox 160 and it looks nice and simple. Has anyone got one?

I'll likely just go with previous made coils but had to take a break from looking at them just now, hours of looking at squonkers, coils, cotton, coil wire, tool kits for building and wicking them has fried my brain to the point I think I'm just looking for the easiest option that won't end in me spontaneously combusting.

I used kangertech stuff years ago and most of it was pretty reliable, then they just seemed to stop bringing new stuff out so I'm hoping these are as good as the look?

I have the dripbox 160, wraith and some mech box's and i think the kanger is my favourite one out of the all. All i will recommend is not using the RDA that comes with it.

I thought you could only use the one that comes with it? Said something about it having a different liquid delivery system to most other tanks, maybe that was in another one i looked at though.

Nah you can put any RDA fitted with a squonk pin. I have a Kryton sat on mine at the moment as ive just given my Goon clone away lol

I have the db160 and run a coral on it.

You can run any dripper on it as long as it has the squonk pin

As mj and miss pepper have said its good to go. Mine has the tsunami 24 on it. Make sure your not getting confused with the dripez. That will only take the supplied rda.
There's a few more regulated squonks arriving in the next month like the capo squonk and fuchai squonk. Note these are not out yet but the release date of the capo is supposed to be next week. Have a look.

Just a get out clause incase you soak the board with liquid.
Never had an issue. Some have said one or two rda' s didn't register due to a short 510pin but the just undid the 510 pin a little until it did.
I've used a goon,kryten,maze v2, twisted messes 2, Kennedy and tsunami and all have been golden.

That note should read:

Do not use the supplied rda with any mod apart from a squonker.

Do not use the db160 with any dripper not fitted with a squonk pin.

A lot of instructions do not translate too well amd tend to miss words out.

The "delivery system" is a tube that feeds the juice upwards, into the hole in the rda and upwards into the dripper; soaking your wick before you vape it.

Cheers, just had a look at the other 2 mentioned above. I have a feeling I'll end up with a few. I use 4 different tanks just now so spending too much on stock coils. Need to buy some today now I think about it.
