Hey i finally picked and ordered a Kayfun 3.1 Hicgar from vapegeek and was wondering does anyone have any tips? or know good videos of recoiling and so on

Thanks GothicCorpse

They are pretty simple to be fair, just make sure you give it a really good wash, then build a single micro coil with cotton and off you go.

YouTube is scattered with kayfun builds, tips and tutorials.

cool im hoping vapegeek will send it out today and i will get it saturday as damn friday and monday is bank holidays i think :(

Whatever coil you decide to build, bare in mind that the Kayfun 3.1 (and all Kayfun series + the Russian 91%) are not really suited to sub ohm coils, as they can't, as standard, provide the necessary extra air flow needed to get the best out of sub ohm vaping. Resitances of 1.2 ohms - 2.0 ohms keep them happy. Quite a big range,so plenty to go at.

I got one about 3 weeks ago and it has been working like a demon ever since... Give it a REALLY good wash before using - mine had some metal shavings in the air hole. When wicking, remember not to actually block the juice channels with the wick. The fill hole is a bitch to use.. so I just fill it from the top. It does leak a little from the fill hole when filling this way or it might be that I have broken the flange thingy in the fill hole - but it all works brilliantly once the pressures have equalised in the tank. Ordered my second one too :)

Thanks Motorheaded, that's just what I was looking for

Fasttech delivered a Russian 0% at last (you know what I mean, at least it's got no logos ;) ) and after four washes in industrial cleaner because I could still smell machine oil, I reckon it might be ready to go :D

Ooo! Let me know how it performs. I've been wanting to add another Kayfun, but keep reading conflicting reviews on FT.
Or do I get an Expromizer.....? lol

I think it's the Russian 91% 'B' model (Tobeco? or is it a clone of a tobeco clone? who knows :D ) in the FT Kayfun/Russian stable of RBAs. Looks nicely enough made and finished so far: the worst of the machining gunk seems to be hiding in the airflow port and screw holes ... even now I'm not convinced it's all gone even though I can no longer smell it ...

Just fancied one as my very tiny collection of other RBAs so far are gennies (but I can't be bothered with mesh) and I'm not really bothered about sub-ohming, so in theory a kayfun-alike should be perfect :D
