Kayfun double barrel

Just thought id share my latest kayfun lite rebuild...
Two micro coils 0.20 kanthal total 2.2 ohms, high I know, but probably just as well.....
Wicks in cotton, threaded thru and stuck to side of deck upper,
Juice is volcanecigs RY4 24 mG nic 70/30 PG/VG

Really warm and dense vape, very flavourful, throat hit is massive......been missing that hit lately, this delivers in spades !!!
Again I know the res. is high but it heats quick, great heat and no dry hits yet cotton from half q-tip usually use ekowool but need to get 2mm
for this build.

Must add I am using a VW mod - Lavatube V2.5 that's how I get away with 2.2 ohms.. only vaping 9-10 watts

great! 0.2 mm 12 turns dual coil gave u a final res of 2.2 ohm is it?
m haven't yet tried the double barrel on the KF.. only single n working pretty well for me.. may be a job for the weekend.

I tried a double barrel build in my kayfun at the weekend with .32 kanthal. Came out at 0.5 ohms, only got one battery able to handle that resistance at the moment so I only kept the build for a day.

Noticeable increase in vapour production but still nothing impressive over a single coil, I expected more but that's what I don't get about RIP Trippers, you can follow his builds EXACTLY but find you'll only get half of the vapour, I'm sure he's just got some good video lights and big softboxes to make the vape look denser.

Flavour and throat hit was definitely better though, and you could feel the ferocity of the coils vaporising the e liquid as a satisfying popping/rumbling feel in your mouth, I liked that.

Thing with americans is their e liquid contains more VG, up to 100% !

To clarify this is 0.20mm kanthal NOT 20 guage !

approx. 2mm dia coil, lifted 2-3mm off airhole hence warm vape.

micro chimney coil in 0.28mm kanthal with 3mm ekowool wick just tied round and draped on deck
gives loads of vapour.
my final res. is 1.9 ohms.
Vaping totally wicked own mix 60/40 PG/VG 50/50 absinthe and ice menthol.......clears your airways like a fisherman's friend !
