I got myself a Kick with the view of adding it to my Nemesis, I use one 18650 battery and a Kanger Protank 2 which works fine on its own. When I add the Kick it dont work?
So I played around with contacts etc as you do but still nothing.
I am not sure if the Kick is at fault or do I need more volts or is there something I am missing?
So far the pretty little Kick has sat in my box of vaping bits (not rattling about, it is safe & sound) and been wondering for a while what else I can do to get the combination working. Until that day I will plod on and enjoy my vape time & not get frustrated.

Enjoy the rest of summer, winter will soon be knocking on the door and time to stock up on juice:stinker:

Are you using a protected battery ?

Yes Danny, I am? would that be it.
what is best to do/use

Use a standard 18650 / 18500 or 18350 with the kick, i don't know the real technical reasons why kicks don't like protected batteries i guess the circuitry gets confused between them.

Some one more technically minded like Tubbyengineer or @gords100 might be able to explain why.

Theoretically they should work together but often the protection circuitry on the battery upsets the Kick, best to use unprotected batteries & depending on your kick module you'll need to check whether it likes flat or button top batteries, also check the inside of your mod does not have an anti tarnish coating or anodising - if it does clean it with a scotchbrite pad or similar taking care to avoid the threads...
