Finally gotten round to the point of getting my first parallel mosfet to the point of being able of giving it a test fire before sticking down the battery holder have to say It was kind of underwhelming,my stingray hit harder.all the solder joint were clean,I think I may search a few more wiring diagrams and go series

Tbh I felt the same. I suppose the difference is battery life.

I'm still getting a good 3.8/3.9 volts with sag and with the right build its chucking but it's not as powerful as I would have liked!

You cant beat a nice mech with a good build and a fresh battery....:)

Parallel batteries don't give you more voltage so won't give you more watts so won't give you more clouds or flavour with the same coils you use on a single battery.

They do give twice the battery life.. and have twice the tolerance for drain, though, so you can safely* half the resistance of the coils that you would put in that stingrays. Stick a 0.2ohm dual clapton in there and you'll feel the benefit.

* assuming good batteries, both draining equally and the usual safety checks.

I agree! Not about the mod, it's the build and batteries that make it.

I have a parallel 26650, series 26650 and a 10a raptor waiting to be built :)

Along with the hexohm and my other mods I have something to suit any mood lol

Thanks for the info, but I already know about the trade off between vape time and power when it comes to series vs parallel, just in a few mosfet box review and build vids I've watched I was led to believe parallel ones hit just as good as a tube mech and it left me a bit disappointed,I've just finished rewiring it in series just got a couple of finishing touches to do tomorrow
