Knowing when to charge/replace a battery

You could always buy an inline voltmeter that shows how much the voltage drops.I did and used it for a couple days before I was familiar with the taste changes.

Ok, so where would you recommend I look for a inline volt meter?

So say its a 3.7 battery, off the charger around 4.0 . . . once it drops to 3.6, you'd charge it? Variable mods can tell you the voltage, but use a multi metre for batteries used in a mech mod?

That's what i do, yes. I only use mechanical mods. I have 4 batteries in rotation & two more as spares. When a battery is flagging & the vape is poor, i change that battery. As for VV/VW circuit devices, i have an mvp2 & i use it to read coil resistances & as a back up.
