Ksd babel teardown

Hi. I have an old ksd babel which powers on and detects coils. It shows as firing but no power is getting to the tanks. I want to take a look see if I can repair it as I like the old regulated tube design. Unfortunately I'm not sure how to get it apart. There appears to be a cap on it but I cant tell if it unscrew or is push fitted. I dont want to start cutting anything. Anyone disassembled one before.? I realise not many people purchased it so may be a long shot and may need to end up getting out the dremel.
