leaky pro tank

Yes..the 9.9 reading on the vamo is an indication that there is no atty attached.. therefore tge protank is not making a good connection with the 510 pin on the vamo.

This may be down to two factors:
1. The vamo 510 got pushed in a bit..in which case you can take a pin and raise it up a tiny fraction..not too much or you might cut the wires
2. The protank head 510 pin is pushed in ..solution is the same..wiggle it out a bit being careful not to pull it all the way out or you will misplace your coil.

Hope this helps :)

Not a protank problem, but I have had issues with my Vamo 4.
Had 9.9 ohms (open circuit). Pin pushed in. I dug out the seal, heat-shrinked the pin and fitted an O-ring. Problem solved. There is a video somewhere that I followed.
Mine keeps switching off. I put the LED displat to on, and could see that sometimes when I press the button, it flashes rapidly and turns off.
I tried getting the top off to align the PCB, but it's like it's friction welded. Needs some heat I think.

Will try, now I have my MVP to keep me going.

thanks for the help guys, i have pulled the bottom pin out a bit and it has now given the correct ohms and seems to work. im thinking it was not making the connection to work. one problem which im getting on and off is the main button. it seems im having to press the button on the sides to get it to work right! if i press it dead centre its hit of miss that it works and sometime it will flash so im guessing there is a connection problem there too? any light on this one

Like I say, I think I've the same problem. My guess is that the circuit board has rotated in the tube, so the button is not square on.
I tried to get into it, but it's not as easy as this:

thanks @Motorheaded this is begining to get on my nerves as its getting worse... but it is still working which is a good thing. I cant work out the leaking, just put in a brand new kanger coil from a new evod i have just got from @MrKraken and its still doing it. also tried with an air flow controller and still leaking. when i put the new coil in it came up with low load too!!!

How long have you had your Vamo?
I would get in touch with the vendor TBH...

Sounds like two separate issues, even though the snowball effect is stressful enough to meld them into one.
Have you got another tank/carto to try while you see what problems your mod is throwing at you?

yeah the evods i have are working ok so im using them and watching lots of vids on you tube to see if i can get to the bottom of it.

strange think is i have rewicked the evods no problem and no leaking and once on the pro tank, but since the last time i rewicked it all the problems have started... button on the vamo i think i will have a chat with MrKraken and see what he thinks.
