Leaky tanks...

Hi everyone,

Constantly a victim of leaky tanks. I have used a few; CE4, CE5, Vivi-Nova (2.5ml and 3ml), GSH2 etc and now using an iVape M1, all of which have leaked, even if only a little bit, in the past.

Just wondered if there is a 'leak-proof' tank out there and if so, which!?

Any help or suggestions most appreciated!

Thanks all :)

check out the iClear 30 and iClear 30S.

Most reliable clearomizers / tanks on the market IMO

Up until the advent of the, now stalwart, evod/protank/davide bottom coil style devices, everything I tried had leaking/gurgling issues in some way or another and the only 100% leak free tank system was a punched/slotted cartomiser in a tank. IMO even now, with the design improvements to 'clearos', a cartomiser in a tank is still the only system that you can reliably use, away from home, without having to take along a pocket full kitchen roll.

Top tank researching ManchesterVaper.

Seems like the Innokin iClear or the anything that uses the Aspire BDC are good bets. Although someone said the eVod style Aspire leaks, which is strange because they are the same basic design as the other models. I can definitely state that the Davide and the CE5 style Aspire do not leak. However the Davide Mini does leak because it uses a Protank style atomiser. I would appreciate it if someone gave an opinion of the Vivi Nova style Aspire.

But I have to agree with cheersm8, a Boge carto in a tank takes some beating, I would never leave the house without one, they never leak and they have never let me down.

However, they require a knack on how to fill them for the first time (i.e. with a new carto in the tank), there are plenty of vids on Youtube on how to do this (just search Youtube for DCT) and I would definitely recommend a needle tip bottle for this.

Cloud9 are currently knocking them out for £3.95 each.

Which one are you using?

For your coil heads to be popping that quickly you must have your voltage set to high?

Do you know what resistance your coil is and what voltage your vaping at?

Also all these clearomizers are top fed, which means the juice has to wick up to the coil.

If your vaping hard at high voltage its possible you can burn the juice faster than it can wick it up, causing a dry / burnt hit.

Some tanks like the Vivi Nova can benefit from a little swirl every few pulls to help the juice flow to the coils.

Hope I helped.

Hi mate, yes you are totally right, I meant the ivape M1, I used it on an ego for a stealth vape to take to work. But now its sat in the corner, I use a mech and KFL at home but dont want to risk dropping/breaking /losing it so just use ego/evods at work.

Evods are bottom fed so much less likely to get the dry hits, just have to watch out for the gurgles :)
