What's new

Leave it to america to ruin everything as usual

He always looks like he needs a good wash

I always have a love/hate thing with him... I don't particularly like him but every time I watch him he'll always say at least one thing that either makes me think about something completely differently or makes me see something I didn't quite see before. One thing I don't have to worry about is his motives though, I think he always has good intentions.

Yeah I feel much the same about him tbh - I like a lot of his ideas - sometimes he gets right on me tho

yeah especially when he's going on about spiritual stuff like some old hippy, I just switch off. ;)

He's right about people going on about Trumps orange face and hair do and all that personal stuff though, it does nothing and it just makes it look like people don't have anything to say about his policies... it looks like they've lost the argument already.

It does look like the virus is pretty out of control over there in some states.

Is anyone staying in, wearing masks, social distancing over there or is it all pretty much business as usual?
here in Philadelphia, everyone is still wearing masks n gloves, lines at grocery stores are regimented, dr.s offices arent using waiting rooms, etc..

EVERYWHERE else apparently they are not, even in new york, as soon as they eased restrictions everyone went out partying.

They never really shut philadelphia down, maybe a little (bars, restaurants maybe), not sure, i dont go out much, but no where i go was ever closed, just modified, so there was no real 'end to restrictions' so no eplosion of freedom and ppl are still just goin about business as usual with masks n stuff.

To be honest that sounds like a fairly sensible approach. If we'd all worn masks, kept our distance, hand sanitizer everywhere made changes in shops and things I don't think we needed a massive government lock-down, all these months I've been wondering how the hell we were going to get out of it and I guess we have the answer now. ... everyone go mad and go to the beach and forget about it. :19:

In my area especially, north philly isnt the type of a city where u hang out in, its where u lock your car doors when u drive thru, n u can do pretty much everything at a drive thru or online and get it delivered same day
