As Bangladesh bans vapes this week, I thought it useful to include a list where vaping is banned.

Countries where vaping is banned:
  • Antigua and Barbuda
  • Argentina
  • Bangladesh
  • Bhutan
  • Brazil
  • Brunei
  • Cambodia
  • Colombia
  • Cuba
  • Ethiopia
  • Gambia
  • Hong Kong
  • India
  • Iran
  • Japan (vaping non-nicotine e-liquid is legal)
  • N. Korea
  • Kuwait
  • Laos
  • Lebanon
  • Mauritius
  • Mexico
  • Nepal
  • Nicaragua
  • Oman
  • Palestine
  • Panama
  • Qatar
  • Seychelles
  • Singapore
  • Sri Lanka
  • Suriname
  • Syria
  • Thailand
  • Timor-Leste
  • Turkmenistan
  • Uganda
  • Uruguay
  • Vatican City
  • Venezuela
  • Vietnam
If anyone notices any countries missing from the list, please post, and I can amend the list.
Likewise, the list can be amended as and when other countries decide to join this crazy club, or be taken off when they see sense!

Australia? Anyway I'm sure the list is equally as long for those countries that have banned smoking. :25:

Australia?
Vaping isn't banned in Australia, just stupidly restricted (presently only available from pharmacies in a tiny selection with flavours restricted to tobacco, menthol and mint; and that's from the pharmacies which actually stock vapes).

Seems odd to include Japan and not Australia but there you go.
Well, I suppose the list applies to nicotine-containing vapes then, because in Japan nicotine-containing e-cigarettes are classified as pharmaceutical products and none have been approved for sale.
(Although Japanese citizens can import up to one month's supply of nicotine-containing e-cigarettes for personal use, so maybe shouldn't be on the list?).

There could be separate list that includes countries where vapes are heavily restricted (which feels like most countries these days!), but in what way would you draw the line?
