Looking for advice on mechanical mod coils

20awg flat nichrome is my go-to wire. 5 wraps round a 3mm bit (you WILL want more wraps than me, I'm an idiot!) Gives me plenty of flavour and instant ramp-up.

Righto!.

I'm looking for some information on some nice coils for mechs.

I've got some ni80 24awg which I like but I'm just finding my feet with it I've been twisting 26/29 ss316l aiming around 0.2/0.3

But what I'm interested in is how people get aliens Claptons and the like to give a good vape in a mechanical? without the ramp up etc...

Are they ni80 alien's? etc..

I'm lost I understand alot of those pictures I see will be a shit vape just coil porn but then I read people using fancy coils in mechs.

I'm looking forward to hearing from the more knowledgeable.

I tried some of the pre made coils such as the aliens, staggered stapled fused clapton and such but lately I've really been enjoying the wire doctor 23g wire.

Simple to use, just aneed easy 6 wrap around a 3mm post and you're good to go.

Getting lots of vapour and lots of flavour too. It's my new go to wire

Wire Doc 23g Wire 7 wraps x 3mm is what I currently use and its great, maybe a 6 wrap on the next build
