I have a non working 18650 Hana clone I have gutted out and would like to rebuild and upgrade. I have ordered a new firing button and 510 for it along with a clone DNA30 chip and chip carrier. Basically everything needed to do the job.

However I have realised I need to mod the enclosure to take the new fittings and have no taps to do it with, and that the firing button is not compatible with the chip holder (its an illuminated anti-vandal button) - all in all a bit of a cock up really.

I am looking for someone who could do the mechanical bits for me if I provide all the parts - although in reality it probably makes more sense to ask someone to do the whole thing (mechanicals and wiring).

Anyone out there interested in doing this for me ? I have no idea what the cost will be so if you are interested could you please PM me so we can have a chat about it.....

Thanks in advance

Hi Brian, have you seen my thread? http://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/f...d-making/67641-dna-30-hana-style-mod-diy.html Is your 510 a standard or 22mm, fat daddy for example. Managed to drill out and cut a new thread, without any issue. The chip holder can easily be cut away to accommodate the 510. Not sure how much clearance you will have for your switch. As for the soldering of the chip, a third hand tool, would be a huge advantage. I still have the tap 10mm/1.0mm pitch and only live in Pompey.

Hi - I did indeed. Noticed you were in Hampshire too !

I have ordered a 22mm FDV type with the short stem and 1mm flat top which I now hope will be long enough to be fastened to the box lol ! The switch is pretty deep and looks like if it were to have any chance of fitting with the chip holder that I will have to chop it away virtually to the top of the chip. Difficult to say really till its all in hand tbh. May have to end up ordering another of the regular hana buttons as the original was one of the faults with the box.

Think i've found someone to build it for me now which is a major bonus !
