Hi just wondering if anyone can help got some coils and they were great changed the wick once and now the performance has changed dramatically all I have done is burnt off the gunk and put them under a tap and then re wicked and now the coils have like a lackluster fizzing when vaping and pretty much no flavour the coils have only been in for a week so just wondering if anything that I may have done wrong.

Did you dry them after running under the tap?
Did you pulse them before rewicking to ensure they were heating evenly?

I do pulse them obviously to get rid of the excess water but not sure if I checked them.I havejhave rewicked them and didn't clean them with water and it's pretty much to the same effect surely it would be fine now shouldn't it.

If they were working okay first time round you need to figure out what you did differently the second time round.

School boy error.

Do not wash coils out under a tap. Just dry burn them and blow the crap off them in furture.

What? Why not, what are you imagining the water might do to the coil? Dry it off afterward and you're all good.

Your not supposed to heat the coils up and then instantly cool down with water, the metals react to sudden change in temperature.

Or so ive heard. Could be complete bullshit like lol.

Once you washed them water its good practise to wipe them with kitchen towel, then glow them to remove any moisture make sure they cool down check all the connections, wick and away you go .

Hope u get sorted.

In a scenario where someone dryburnt their coil and immediately ran it under a cold tap afterwards, yes i can see that being bad for the coil.
