All the gear came in the post today (starter pack as couldn't be bothered to order separately and have to wait for everything to come), and I set out to make my first liquid.

I decided to go for a cherry flavour with a touch of extreme ice.

I've tried it and it tastes really nice, vapour production is good and the throat hit and nic all feels right. Should I be waiting longer for this to steep or would it be good to go after a good shake?

Also, once I shook the bottle up the liquid went really cloudy, is this natural or have I done something wrong?

First impression: I am very satisfied with my first attempt!!

Fruits and menthol are usually shake and vape but taste better after a bit. Desserts defo steep for a while. The cloudiness is usually tiny air bubbles. You want it to be opaque then you know that you're shaking enough. Enjoy!

Nice one, welcome to the forum.

I've found menthol can react with fruit flavours and make them cloudy. As long as you've used oil free vaping specific concentrates you should be OK.

As for steeping, your mix is good to go but may improve over the next few days.

Great! And you will get more liquid for your money too, and a new hobby, I love it!

Nothing like making your own juice to vape . keep notes so when you make something you really like you will be able to make it the same next time

Yeah I have been, and I've been rating the liquids I've made out of five, things like taste, throat hit, vapour production etc. so when I make them again I can make amendments.

Love it!

... and so it begins ... :) Well done, the first of many.
Don't worry about air bubbles or a little cloudiness in menthols. Some of my mixes using the food processor take 3 days to go clear.

Cheers mate @scrumpox

I've just made single flavours with the concentrates I have to get their initial taste and how strong/weak I want them to be.

Do you have any recipe recommendations? I was going to try and replicate my favourite juice but think that may be a bit ahead of me at the moment.
