Hi there guys, been reading a few threads and stories on why using a mains is much more safer than charging from my laptop. I see that alot of people say they use a '2A' charger, would these be alright? Ideally to charge two at the same time..

Cheers guys.

Ive never had any issues charging my egos off a computer and I sometimes use my Samsung galaxy s 3 wall charger as its a usb type as per your photo

Lol I also have a galaxy S3 coincidentally.. So you reckon I could just use that and save a few bob? Been looking into the past hour and im so confused as to what amps/input/output ect! Getting a headache from it. Ah this vaping thing can be so stressful.. Still loving it though :)

Looking at the side of my S3 charger now, And it says output 5V-1A.. Could any one confirm if this will be okay with an ego t usb? Cheers.

I've been using either a Nokia mains or a huawei phone mains, both charge batteries fine and in all honesty i didn't look at volts and output cos they have a usb on them i just assumed they would be ok.

I use the usb chargers that came with Apple products. Both the "slower" one for the phone and the "faster" one for the ipad. Not had any problems so far.

Jabz,

(I have the Galaxy S2 lol).................Any 5 volt (600mA - 1A) USB charger will be fine for your Ego type batteries. I use the same charger for my Galaxy, my Kindle Fire HD, and my Android tablet, and my e-cig batteries, they all charge off a 5 volt adapter.

The handful of horror stories I've read about e-cig batteries causing some sort of problem whilst charging via a laptop or PC USB port have been with mod style batteries. The damage they did varied from taking out the USB port to which they were connected to frying the motherboard. These are very rare cases however, and there could have been other underlying problems too, there's so many variables involved.

You can buy a USB charger for your Ego batteries from most e-cig websites for £2 - £4
