were there not a load of fakes of these about a while ago? i would do as @Simon G suggests and get it from the source, or one of the trusted battery sellers.

I don't know if there was of this model, but there's been Nitecore fakes for sure.

That battery place had a load, do you remember that one? they didn't even have fuses in the power cord!

They look like a good company from the website but I've never used them before....

I had a fake D2 also.

I already have returned one of the i8's because 2 of the bays weren't working
Apart from that it looked a good solid charger.
