Eventually got round to getting a Vim and all is positive so far.

Excellent taste, smooth, small size, no excess heat from coil and a nice solid unit. Battery lasted from morning until bedtime. Only had it a couple of days but no negatives. It remains to be seen how well the coils hold out.
