Making coils ?

Hi thinking of learning how to make single coils for my aero tank and just wondered if the links i have listed below for the kanthal and the ekowool will be ok to use ?

i bought mine from stealthvape and i got it the next day the kanthal i mean never tried ekowool only rebuilding i do is on my kayfun lite and i use cotton for that. Quite cheap and great CS and delivery.

I'd get silica/ewool from stealthvape, the stuff from the other place wasn't great.

i had some in the house from tesco's i think. used it first and there was a cottony taste so boiled some for around 15 mins and had no problem since. Any organic or pure cotton will do, some are ok using it without boiling others may have a distinct taste to it. If your rebuilding an aerotank though not sure it would work in it but i may be wrong best off asking that question to the more experienced coilers.

i just recoiled my first aerotank head a couple of hours ago. i've done my protank 2 before but this was a little different as there is a bigger slot in the head for the extra wicks in the dual coils. i followed this guide here http://allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/38247/aerotank-microcoil-cotton-guide-single i bought silica to use when i first tried to re coil, i still can't do it as i'm too cack handed and can't wind coils tightly enough around the silica or thread it through the coil because it comes to bits. i like cotton a lot, you can change wicks with the flavour and just rinse the tank out.
