Mellody Box Squonker

Some of you might be familiar with the Mellody Box, which for a long period of time was one of the most sought after high end mods. I previously owned a Mellody, and it still to this day is one of my favourite mods, and one I highly regret selling.

Tomasz has been hard at work on his latest project...the Mellody Box Squonker...

It has the same dimensions as the old Mellody Box, takes a single 18650 battery, has a moddog 510, mosfet and gold coated contacts...Pics of the physical prototype below...

It’s still at prototype stage at present but that in my opinion is looking stunning...and will come in at a cool €320...

It’s a beauty IMO, one of the best looking squonkers I’ve seen in a long time, getting my X1 in for this!

They did one last year, called the Lowrider, didn’t really take off though

Should have seen what Mell’s used to go for when they were sought after, I got offered $1,000 straight up for mine, and I’ve seen them change hands for upwards of $2,000 in straight sales, raffles and auctions.

Those days are long gone though
