Menthol crystals- mixing ratio.

I realise this has prob been asked a million times before but am I right in saying that that 9ml of pg mixed with 1g of menthol crystals is the most common mix? I've heard that more than 10% menthol crystals in pg simply won't mix, does this mean I should use a 10ml bottle (which holds approx 12ml), put 9ml of pg in and then just fill it to the top with menthol crystals. This would mean more than 10% is crystals but this shouldn't matter as no more then 10% will dilute. I think this has come out as gobbledygook!

They do dilute to way more than 10%. I mix mine with 10 gram of crystals in a 30ml bottle and fill with pg..

The strength of it is quite strong.. A few drops in a 10ml bottle of juice is enough to turn it Menthol.

I guess it depends how strong you want the concentrate to be.. If you just want to add slight Menthol to a mix then maybe dilute the concentrate more pg than I do.

I grind mine to dust, fill a 30ml bottle third full and top up with PG, megastrong

Thanks all, that's thrown me a bit. This means that anyone sharing a recipe with their fellow 'mixology' peeps are unable to say what percentage of menthol was used, as everyones menthol will be a different strength.

I use bells crystals in a 5g tub, grind half so about 2.5g which half Fills a 10ml bottle and top up with pg till its full. I have literally 4 or 5 grains that hasn't dissolved. 4 drops of this to 10ml is good for me.
