Hi all.
Resident pain in ass still learning here again.

I made a batch of different flavours from Caprella on the 27th Jan

They have been sitting in a dark cupboard all week.
I left them 4 days with lid / tip off
Then put both on, shake well, lid off for an hour, on over night
Repeating last step most days

Anyway, day 8, thought I try them (as suggested min 5 days to rest)

They taste OK, but not much taste, nor much throat hit.

All mixes are 50/50 with 13% flavour, 2% sweatner (10ml bottles)

Shall I add another 5% (0.5ml) flavour to each mix to bring it up.

If I do, should I add another 0.5ml VG to keep 50/50 mix (does not seem worth it)
is 0.5ml enough?

Any other suggestions?

Depending on the type of flavourings you used, 13% might be a bit low.. tobacco flavourings usually require a lowish percentage, fruity flavourings a higher percentage and flavouring strengths can vary between brands.

Bear in mind that by adding flavouring, you will also be diluting the nicotine content.

It may be worth giving them a few more days to steep and see what they're like then?

OK, i went through my batches and added 0.5 flavour.

Do they have to wait a week again before vaping or just a couple of days?

Best letthem steep for a day or two since you added more concentrate.
I tend to use about 20% volume for flavouring when i make a new flavour, then if it is too strong i can make another lower batch.
I do take note of what is in where, and then a bit of fiddling, put a slightly weaker mix in with the stronger one into a bigger bottle.
That way nothing is wasted!

Fruits need sweetener and sour to bring out the flavour. Generally, I use 20% flavour for fruit mixes. Liquorice and tobacco need much less. A few mixes in and you'll get a feel for it. Vape the mix, take notes and make the next one better.

I don't have any favourites as such, i use Capella and PA, and anything else that catches my eye.
I do write down what i am using and strength, as different concentrates can be weaker or stronger, i adjust accordingly.
