Got a nice big 100ml bottle of Capella VC concentrate in the post today courtesy of a decent forum member :)

So whipped up a couple mixes tonight.

Only one using Capella VC though.

Bottle on the right is a straightforward mix of Capella VC and Inawera Caramel, only 3% Caramel in there, yep it's really dark stuff.
Bottle on the left is 'Natural essence of Vanilla Custard' from Alchemists Cupboard mixed with TFA Brown Sugar.

Now it's off to the steeping drawer with these and i'll give them a taste in about a weeks time.

Both are 50/40/10 PG/VG/H2O.

Please report back once they've steeped. I'm just vaping my 1st 'matured' straight Capella Vanilla Custard. It's nice, but (bearing in mind that I'm a custard heathen) tastes nowt like custard to me, but does taste like a blooming good and creamy vanilla ice-cream :D

I made up some straight capella vc from chefs vapour over a week ago really happy with mine mixed @20% concentrate 80%vg 12mg. Bit of caramel with it.... Now there's an idea lol. Really into caramel espresso at mo still trying to get it right lol.

I'm no Custard expert, i've only ever tasted that birds instant stuff out of a packet, and capella tastes nothing like that, custard(esque) maybe, in that it's creamy and looks a bit yellow. It's a pleasant enough taste though.

I tried that Capella Espresso and was pretty disappointed with it, that the one you're using? If so what percentage of Espresso?

I got a couple other coffee flavours that i not even tried yet, but coffee + caramel is something i think i might try.

I did 18% caramel 10%espresso 60/40 vg/pg @12mg havn't tried it in a rta yet but quite like it in my zenith. Originally did 15% caramel 8% espresso but espresso wasn't coming through much so upped it a bit. Much better after just 24hrs gonna leave it now for few days.

Yes they are all the capella concentrates I'm using at mo from chefs vapour.

I would have thought its going to need a bit longer than a week steeping tbh...

Yeah, i just taste them after a week to see what direction they're going in.

Think i might have overdone it with the Inawera Caramel, rather not wait 4 weeks to find that out :P If i taste them after a week and they're rank then i can tweak and mix up a fresh batch and i've only lost a weeks steeping time rather than more :D

It might be heading towards treacle.... lol

Gave it a sniff tonight and it smells pretty good, hopefully i'll be ok :D

Right, gonna mix up some coffee+caramels tonight.

I'll stick with the Inawera caramel because it's lovely and dark, and i'll be using the following coffee flavours once i find them amongst my concentrate stash....

These ones:

(Capella) Espresso, (TheFlavourApprentice) Coffee, (Alchemists Cupboard) Coffee with Cream and Sugar

Found my other Caramel, so now have Inawera Caramel and FlavourArt Caramel.

OK so the Coffee, Cream and Sugar concentrate I might try a twist of Hazelnut as a bit of a wildcard, FlavourArt Hazelnut is quite potent.

The potent Inawera Caramel i'll mix with the pissy tasting Capella Espresso, might bring it to life.

The milder looking FlavourArt Caramel can go with the more potent smelling TFA coffee.

And to keep everything civilized...

Some Ethyl Maltol, probably add 5 drops in each 30ml mixture.

Right, off to do some mixing.
