I get bored of people who go on about price all the time and that they could buy 5 litres of PG for 2 p or whatever. I don't want a 5 litre stock of PG!

I also get fed up with people who look at flavour concentrates on a price only basis

(a) because if it tastes shit, it tastes shit however much it costs and conversely, if it tastes good, it tastes good. And I'd rather pay 50% more for something that tastes good than stuff that is going to sit around until it goes past its sell by date or get poured away.

(b) because price including p&p is meaningless - it's value for money that counts:

I have 1 great tasting coffee that I ended up using at 22% and another that I use at just under 3%; guess which one I didn't re-buy? My favourite I use at 6% and its strong at that and I bought a bulk bottle - which saves gadzillions on the cost per ml - and my quick mix - Inawera's coffee at 5% - with nothing else and its ready to vape - is brilliant value. Value for money is the issue and that, for me is secondary to taste. I can mix up a hell of a lot cheaper than I buy HoL products for - but I still buy them - because they are superior and taste great.

(c) Its the same gits who were smoking 40 fags a day who complain about a £40 mod a £5 atomizer or paying £4.50 for a hand made quality juice that they can vape solidly for 3 days.

Tis tedious.

Am I alone in feeling this way?

Not at all. I'm a self professed tight arse, but not wanting to waste money means I want to get value and where is the value in cheap shit that tastes so bad that you can't use it and chuck it out anyway? On the flip side I've had some of the top drawer flavours that haven't been any better than the cheaper counterparts. I think it's one of the side effects of vaping- we are always on the hunt for the next best vape. We are in an ever changing and evolving hobby which is moving faster than most of us can keep up with and just when you think you've found that perfect flavour/juice/atty/carto/pv etc something new comes on the scene. When we were smokers a ciggie was a ciggie and most of the brands had been around for years so there was no new best thing and they all costed roughly the same anyway. Unfortunately (going back to flavours, (I'm rambling tonight cos I should be asleep by now but one of my dogs has kennel cough and can't stop hacking so I can't kip!!!) none of the makers are consistent in the quality. I've had some great TPA and F'arts but I've also had some god awful ones, and the same for all the other brands I've tried.
