My Uwell Crown 4 mod seems to be playing up..

I have had it for about five months and it has been fine but it is starting to not fire properly. Sometimes it is just a bit slow, sometimes it doesnt fire, and sometimes the power seems lower than it should be, and i could be wrong but maybe too high too as i just got an unexpected burnt hit out of it.

I have not done anything yet to try to fix it, i just put new coils in yesterday but it only started messing about today.

After this tank i will strip it down and investigate but i just thought i would ask the question here, is this a worrying sign of impending total failure?

ETA, could be a problem with the fire button..i just had to press it about half a dozen times to wake it up...

This could well be juice on the fire button.
Cleaning it up with rubbing alcohol might do the trick. If you strip it down, inspect all parts carefully for any signs of juice ingress ... it can be fatal for the board.

Right, i have never attempted to strip down a mod before to try and look inside it.
I can get my tiny flathead screw driver to open up the back panel a little bit but I am scared of really buggering this thing up. i assume that it does just pop off? If it does, does anyone know if there is a specific area I should be attacking or what?

Youtube & search for a breakdown of that mod. Most mods have either Philips, Hex or Torq screws holding all the bits together. Forcing parts off could break them.

It appears that nobody has made such a video!

I cant see any screwheads or anything that looks like a good place to conceal a screw !

Either the panel opposite the battery door can be lifted (use a credit card or the like) or try looking under the feet for either screws or clips that hold the battery sled in.

Hello.
Did you manage to fix your mod?
Im having same problem and can't find how to open mod. I know my way around electronics but i can't access them
