Mods giving me trouble

Clean all your connections and screws, switch etc.

Make sure the coil is good in the atty.

Check atty resistance to make sure there are no shorts etc.

Make sure everything is making a solid connection to minimise voltage drop

I knew someone would phrase it better than me! also try re-wicking, you may have burned the centre of the wicks out - I've done it a couple of times with cotton.

I would be tempted to try a liquid you know vape dwell in whichever of the two is working best

How would you be sure the coil is good in the atty?

Firstly.. 'I' wouldn't do it that way. But without info and basing it on the guy having only two devices, both of which worked but which now if I read it right stopped being workers with the new piss poor liquid, I would be tempted to try at least.

BUT.. if it were me, I would be trying different atties to see if it was the mods, then once that was confirmed move onto the next in the list of checks. I don't use what he has. I have multiple mods, but the tanks I mainly use are kangers with NV coils. So I would be re wicking and moving on.

But like you say, how would you be sure the coil is good in the atty?

Hi Diablo, as he is using cotton wicks I assume he has built his own coils, therefore the resistance meter/multimeter would be a good place to start. If it was me I would be tempted to recoil and re-wick one of the atties, assuming he has no other atties or mods to narrow the fault with.

No im sorry I misinformed you all these are prebuilt 1.8ohm coils in the silo. I did not build them im not sure what type of wick is in them

So apart from the bit about him not building his own coils, and his not knowing what wicks are in there, spot on, agree totally.

Try a new coil and a liquid you were happy with. Might just be the liquid you chose just isn't right for your setup/s

despite my joking with others here, if the kit you had WAS all you had available and without appropriate testing gear (which I know not everyone has), then trying to find faults is likely to be harder. But with two lots of kit, if you can get one tank happy then you can at least try it on both mods.

Sorry all, not being a guru did not recognize the atties, hope OP can get it sorted. Think I'll go back to lurking.
