MTL recommendation

Good morning all,

I'm hoping someone can help me out. I've been searching for a tight MTL device. The vape im after is as close to an elf bar disposable as possible. I would like for the mod to be rebuildable as disposable pods/coils seem like such a waste.

My consideration has been the Pulse AIO mini paired with a Pioneer insider Boro. However the price tag here in the UK adds up to around £100 which is a hefty price for me as I've never really spent over £30 on a mod.

I would also like the device to be as compact as possible.

Asking for a lot I know! But if anyone's got any recommendations I'd be very grateful!

Cheers

I don't find the pulse aio that big or heavy but I suppose it all depends how puny you are and if you have small hands. The insider is very good.

Yeah the pulse feels bulky.

Unlike the Cthulu AIO!

Might be worth considering a SBS though - the Sunbox MIX is barely larger than the teensy Cthulu AIO (and smaller than the Pulse), and takes a 23mm tank, which you'll find cheaper and IMO more reliable than the boro tanks. Get the Sunbox and the True for £70 all in for a perfect tight MTL vape.

Frankly I find the Mixx slightly too small and I don't much like the weight and fire button position so maybe take that recommendation with a grain of salt. But def. consider SBS.

Yeah it's the mini I was looking at so I'm not too concerned on the size of that. I guess I'm more looking at justifying the price difference. Will the quality of vape between the pulse mini + pioneer be notificbly different from pods?

Thanks for the reply, appreciate the input

Oh that's intresting, is this the pulse mini your referring to? The Cthulu could also be another contender. I've seen a few posts on the SBS, however I thought it looked quite large? I may be wrong but from videos etc it looks quite big. If it offers the vape im after though I may have to reconsider.

Thanks for the reply!

Not sure the plus mini, can be called “bulky”, if I honest.
Though I think I may go for the sxk Bantam box plus a SXK Dope. That’ll be, roughly, £90. So same ballpark.

you can also find the original plus, for around £30-£40. It’s definitely a lot bigger, but not that heavy. It weighs 25g less with a 20700 battery, than a BB with an 18650.

just please please don’t buy a steam crave Meson AIO.
It’s, err, terrible. QC and build quality are truly awful.
Though the Boro rba is very good.

Now that's something I do like the look of! Just to confirm it's this that your on about? https://naturevape.co.uk/products/sxk-bantam-box-30w?variant=30597408030782
If so it looks like it already comes with a tank. Any idea how the box preforms MTL? Can I get a tight MTL out of it?

Yeah I think the standard pulse is out of the picture for me, just way to big for my liking.

And thanks, I'll take note not to get the Meson haha.

Cheers!

There are lots of different SBS mods. But the Mixx is definitely not large - tough to get a 18650 device that's smaller.

I'm just wary of boros because I haven't been able to get any of the MTL RTAs to perform to my standards. There are a lot more 510 tanks and they're cheaper in general.

I'm not in the business of slating one product over another, it's all down to what you'd prefer tbh. If want an aio then buy one. I'd heard first batch meson's had dodgy paintwork but they are dealing with the issue under warranty, there are a few people on here that have one with zero issues...
