MTL Recommendations

Hey there, picked up a sxk bb a few weeks ago and am trying to find a MTL draw similar to the nautilus 2s (quite tight). Is this obtainable on the BB? So far i've been using a nautilus coil bridge and the exocet rba, but obviously that doesn't really effect the airflow much. I do have some 3d printed plugs that I got off a member here. While they are great (the previous one i'd bought off ebay didnt really fit at all) they're still not tight enough.

Are there any RBA's (OR coil bridges) that have a decent MTL hit straight out of hte box?

Could you not ask the member you bought them off to print you one with a smaller hole?

Vapeshell with 1.2 or 1mm reducer should do it for you

Yes, the vapeshell as @Discomatt says, or you can make a reducer to put in the pin of your exocet, using a strip of mesh. I’ve done this and it works quite well.

already using the 1.2mm. reading back over his post there seems to be a certain amount of user error! I didnt have any cotton in the codensate hole which will obviously effect drag, going to try it now.

On the Exocet, is there any sort of plug or o-ring between the base of the tank? I'vej ust got it sitting in there on a wing and prayer and its obviously leaking like a sieve....

@nicevapemate there should be an o ring inside the hole on the bottom that the pin goes through. It should be quite tight to push the bottom bit of the exocet through. If it isn’t then something is wrong.

If it’s not that then it’s probably a problem with how you’ve wicked it. There’s a useful tutorial in the bb section that @TartanSpartan kindly posted on his method of wicking it, which might help.

No there shouldn’t be a o-ring there, the o-ring should be fitted in your boro tank...
